INGREDIENT

INSTRUCTIONS
Prepare Sides:
Prepare bowl sides. Because steak cooks quickly, prepare everything before making steak bites.
Step 1
Start with pickled red onions, which take the longest. Red onion pickles can be made a week ahead.
Step 2
The Asian Cucumber Salad can replace pickled red onions.
Steam or roast broccoli and cook rice as directed.
Step 3
Stovetop Steak Bites:A 12-inch nonstick or cast iron skillet with one tablespoon of avocado oil over high heat works for me. A few minutes, heat the oil. It should sizzle.
Step 4
Put the chopped steak bites in the hot skillet in a single layer. Leave steak to brown for 2-3 minutes. Pour sauce into skillet. It normally boils immediately.
Step 5
Full boil over high heat for 4–5 minutes until the sauce thickens and glazes the steak to your desired crispness and thickness.
Step 6
Make Crispy Steak Bowls:
Add rice, broccoli, avocado, pickled red onion, and steak bites to your steak rice bowl. Enjoy with sesame seeds and chopped green onions!
