Pesto Pasta Salad using Store Bought Pesto Recipe

This amazing pesto pasta salad requires only five ingredients! Choose any little pasta shape and top with homemade or store-bought pesto.

– 1 16 ounce package farfalle pasta (plain or tri colored) – 1 16 ounce package cherry tomatoes, halved – 1 16 ounce package fresh mozzarella, cut into bite sized piece – ½ cup store-bought pesto – 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar – salt and pepper to taste – fresh basil and balsamic glaze for topping (optional)

Follow the directions on the package to cook the farfalle until it is al dente.

Run cold water over the drain and rinse. Put the pasta that has been drained into a big bowl.

Put the cheese, tomatoes, pesto, and balsamic vinegar on top of the pasta. Throw it all together well.

 Add salt and pepper to taste. Put basil leaves on top if you want and drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.
