LeBron James' hyped Instagram reaction to Jarred Vanderbilt's contract extension

It was previously reported that the Los Angeles Lakers and forward Jarred Vanderbilt had reached an agreement on a four-year, $48 million deal extension. He formally signed the extension on Monday.

With LeBron James and Anthony Davis on the team, it was yet another move made in the interest of roster continuity and a young movement.

The Lakers have a wealth of skill on their roster, and many see them as one of just a few teams with a legitimate chance of winning the Larry O'Brien Trophy in June.

James took to social media to express his support for Vanderbilt's contract extension.

This summer, there were rumors that James wanted Los Angeles to once again pursue a third star, either Kyrie Irving, a player with whom he won the title, or Chris Paul, a friend from the banana boat.

The superstar, who is now 38, has, however, openly expressed his support for what his club has done in terms of bringing back the key players that led it to the Western Conference Finals only a few months ago.
