Jahmyr Gibbs scores on Brock Purdy interception, Lions lead 21-7.

As a result of a turnover committed by San Francisco, a touchdown was scored by Detroit, giving the Lions a 14-point advantage once more.

Detroit's score was 21-7 when Jahmyr Gibbs successfully placed the ball inside the end zone.

Just as Brock Purdy was about to pass to Deebo Samuel on third-and-10 from the San Francisco 24 yard line, his hand was struck by a flying object.

That was sufficient to cause the throw to float in the air for linebacker Malcolm Rodriguez, who was able to intercept the pass and return it to the 19-yard line of the 49ers.

The Lions had little issue getting to the paint for the third time, despite the fact that C.J. Gardner-Johnson was flagged for an illegal blindside block that sent the ball back 15 yards.

On first down, Jahmyr Gibbs was stopped for a loss of five yards, but on second down, Jared Goff connected Sam LaPort across the middle for a gain of sixteen yards.

Following that, Goff completed a ball to Amon-Ra St. Brown for 17 yards, which brought the San Francisco 49ers to the 15-yard line.

Gibbs completed the possession by taking a throw to the right and scoring a touchdown from 15 yards out, bringing the score to 21-7.
