Italian Turkey Sausage Meatballs Recipe

Italian sauage with ground turkey make the moistest and tastiest meatball ever! Simmer in this easy marinara sauce and serve over hot pasta or alone.

Warm the oven up to 425 degrees. Spray cooking spray on a large baking sheet and line it with foil. Set it away.

In a big bowl, mix all the meatball ingredients together. Mix everything together with a spoon or clean hands.

Use either a cookie or muffin scoop to get the meatballs to the same size all the way around. To keep your hands from getting sticky, put cooking spray on them or wet them.

The meatballs should be cooked all the way through after being put on a baking sheet that has been prepared.

In a large Dutch oven or pot, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat for the sauce. After you add the onions, cook for about 5 minutes, or until they get soft.

 After that, add the salt and garlic and cook for one more minute. Turn the heat down to low and add the mint and sauce cans.

It should take about 10 to 15 minutes on medium heat while the meatballs are in the oven.

If you want to, you can use an immersion mixer to make the sauce the consistency you want before you add the meatballs.

Put the meatballs that have been cooked into the sauce and let it cook on medium for 20 to 30 minutes.
