Garlic Butter Boneless Turkey Breast Recipe

This simple roasted turkey breast recipe is tender, juicy, and delicious! Prepare it for holiday parties or a delicious weeknight dinner.

INGREDIENT

– 1 cup chicken broth or white wine – 1 (2 to 3-pound) boneless turkey breast (skin on) – 4 to 6 Tbsp unsalted butter softened* – 3 large cloves garlic minced – 2 tsp onion powder – 2 tsp paprika – 2 tsp sea salt **

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 325°F. Put 1 cup of chicken broth, white wine, apple cider, or water in your roasting pan.

Step 1

Unpack the boneless turkey breast and place it on a large plate or cutting board. Pat excess moisture with paper towels.

Step 2

Mix softened butter, minced garlic, onion powder, paprika, and sea salt in a small bowl.

Step 3

Rub the garlic butter mixture on the turkey breast and place it on the roasting pan. The turkey breast should be 160 degrees Fahrenheit after 25 minutes per pound.

Step 4

Check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer in the thickest part of the breast.

Step 5

After baking, foil the turkey breast and let it rest for 15–20 minutes. This distributes juices evenly throughout the breast for the tenderest result.

Step 6

While cooking, the breast should reach FDA-approved 165 degrees F for safe consumption.

Step 7

You can spoon the roasting pan juices over the turkey breast before foiling and serving. Turkey breast slices should be served with your choice of sides.
