My blog has featured many pound cakes, but today's cream cheese one may be my favorite.
Though modest, it's a heavy (but not too heavy) cake that's anything but plain.
The cake is tender and flavorful thanks to cream cheese.Takes 15 minutes to prepare before baking. It's simpler than my sour cream pound cake.
Slow baking lets the center finish cooking without overbaking the outside (a common problem with pound cakes!).
