Coconut Banana Cream Chocolate Truffle Pie Recipe

After making a dessert last week, I am eager to share it, but it may not be ready until tomorrow. I had leftover coconut cream, and even though I would eat it with a spoon, I wanted to share it with relatives.

Ingredient 

GRAHAM CRACKER CRUST – 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs – 6 tablespoon butter melted – 1 tablespoon honey CHOCOLATE TRUFFLE – 12 ounces semi sweet chocolate chopped – 1 cup heavy cream – 1 tablespoon vanilla COCONUT BANANA CREAM – 2 1/2 cups coconut milk about 1 1/2 can – 1/4 cup sugar – 1/4 cup cornstarch – 2 eggs – 1/4 teaspoon salt – 1 teaspoon vanilla – 1/2 teaspoon coconut extract – 3/4 cup shredded sweetened coconut – 2 ripe bananas mashed TOPPINGS – 1 cup toasted coconut – 1/2 cup dulce de leche – 1/4 cup chocolate chips – 2 tablespoon milk – 2 banana

Graham cracker crumbs, honey, and melted butter should be properly combined. Put mixture in an 8- or 9-inch pie pan. Press forcefully into the pan with your fist.

I sometimes press the crust with the back of a 1/4 c measuring cup. This keeps the crust together when cutting. Store in fridge. In a heatproof bowl, mix semisweet chocolate and heavy cream to make truffle filling.

Stir the chocolate and cream every 30 seconds in the microwave until melted and smooth. I spent 2 minutes on this. After melting the chocolate, add the vanilla. Put truffle filling in the pie crust after taking it out of the fridge.

Smooth the filling, cover, and freeze for 30 minutes. While the truffle filling cools, make coconut banana cream. Add coconut milk and cornflour to a medium sauce pot. Whisk until cornflour dissolves without lumps.

Whisk sugar, eggs, and salt until smooth. Put the pot on the heat and stir regularly until boiling. Simmer 5 minutes to thicken cream. Remove from heat and add vanilla, coconut extract, and coconut. Mix with mashed bananas.

Spread coconut banana cream on the truffle pie after removing it from the freezer. Put in the fridge for 2 hours or freezer for 1 hour.

Melt and smooth the chocolate and milk in the microwave before serving. Top the pie with toasted coconut and fresh banana slices. Dip with melted chocolate and dulce de leche. Dig in!
