Chilli Oil Ramen Recipe 

Chilli Oil Ramen Noodles combine the soothing warmth of ramen with the powerful, spicy zing of chili oil. Use your favorite stir-fried vegetables and proteins to make a quick supper.

Ingredient

Chili Oil 4 Tablespoons Oil neutral smelling Szechuan Pepper 1 teaspoon Chili Flakes (see note #2) 1 Tablespoon Garlic minced 1 Spring Onion white and green parts separated and diced 1 tsp Sugar 1 tsp Soy Sauce Noodles 2 packets Instant Noodle cooked and drained 1 tsp Sesame Oil 1 Egg Optional

Prepare Ramen Prepare the ramen noodles per the packet. Drain and set aside. If using an egg, fry to taste and set away.

For Chili Oil Cook vegetable oil in a small saucepan on low. Stir in crushed red pepper flakes and Sichuan peppercorns for 1-2 minutes on low heat.

Add minced garlic. Continue cooking for 1-2 minutes until garlic is aromatic but not browned.

Mix in soy sauce and sugar. Stir until sugar dissolves and mixture simmers. Add the spring onion white stem and heat for a minute.

Mix in cooked ramen. Add sesame oil and stir.

Garnish with fried egg and spring onion green slices. Serve hot chili oil ramen.
