Brownie Crinkle Cookies Recipe

Rich chocolate brownies with a fudgy centre and chewy edges and a chocolate crinkle top make the perfect brownie crinkle cookies. 

– 6 tablespoons butter – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 8 oz dark chocolate chips or semi sweet  – ½ cup white sugar – ½ cup brown sugar – 2 eggs  – ½ cup flour  – ¼ cup cocoa powder  – 1 teaspoon baking powder  – ½ teaspoon salt – Sea salt flakes for garnish

Heat the oven to 350 F. Melt butter and chocolate chips in a double boiler or microwave in small increments. Cool slightly.

Meanwhile, beat eggs and sugars in a medium bowl for 4 minutes with a handheld mixer on high. Pour the melted chocolate slowly.

In another large bowl, mix dry ingredients. Whisk and slowly add to wet ingredients. Soft, sticky batter.

Quickly spoon 1 tablespoons of batter onto cookie sheets 2–3 inches apart. For a crackly top, bake 8-10 minutes.

It would be best if you had a large oven that could accommodate multiple baking trays. This would be an even better option.

It is simple to make these cookies thicker by scooping approximately two tablespoons of batter into each cookie.
