INGREDIENT
– 16 ounces sockeye salmon cut into filet– 1 Tbsp avocado oil– 1 tsp garlic powder to taste– 1/2 tsp sea salt to taste– 1/2 tsp black pepper to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 400F. Place sockeye fillets in a large baking dish or rimmed sheet pan after unpacking. Leave salmon skin-side down and dab excess moisture with paper towels.
Step 1
Coat salmon with avocado oil using your hands or a silicone brush. Sprinkle sea salt, garlic powder, and black pepper on salmon. Add any spice blends.
Step 2
Bake salmon on the centre rack of a preheated oven for 10–15 minutes until 145 degrees F.
Step 3
Insert a meat thermometer into the fish's thickest part and wait until the numbers stop moving for an accurate reading.
