Asian Air Fryer Chicken Bites Recipe

These quick, easy, healthful low-carb Asian Air Fryer Chicken Bites are a crowd-pleasing appetiser!

– 1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts chopped – 3 Tbsp avocado oil – 1 Tbsp sesame oil – 1 Tbsp fish sauce – 3 large cloves garlic minced – 3 Tbsp pure maple syrup* – 5 Tbsp coconut aminos** – 1 Tbsp sriracha optional – 4 Tbsp rice vinegar – Sea salt and black pepper to taste

In a small bowl, mix the marinate ingredients (excluding the chicken). The marinade should be about 1 cup.

This mixture will be used to marinade the chicken and as a dipping sauce for the chicken bites.

Ziplock or seal bite-sized chicken pieces. Add ⅔ cup marinade. Stir the chicken in marinade and seal the bag. Marinate overnight or for 20 minutes.

Heating air fryer to 375 degrees F for 3–5 minutes till hot air flows for chicken bits. Place half or all the chicken in the air fryer.

Shake the basket halfway through 8–12 minutes of air-frying at 375. My smaller air fryer needs two batches.

Your cooking time depends on how crispy you like your chicken bites. I like my chicken tender and moist with a crunchy outside after 10 minutes.

 A 165-degree internal temperature indicates chicken is done. You can check the chicken's internal temperature with a meat thermometer.
