Ingredients:

For the Chilli Oil:

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 tablespoons red pepper flakes
  • 2 teaspoons Sichuan peppercorns
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

For the Ramen Bowl:

  • 4 packs of ramen noodles
  • 6 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon miso paste
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 cup bok choy, chopped
  • 1 cup shiitake mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup firm tofu, cubed
  • Green onions, thinly sliced (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • Soft-boiled eggs (optional, for topping)

Instructions:

For the Chilli Oil:

Prepare Ingredients: Gather all the ingredients for the chilli oil.

Heat Oil: In a small saucepan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat until hot but not smoking.

Infuse Flavors: Add the red pepper flakes, Sichuan peppercorns, minced garlic, and grated ginger to the hot oil. Stir continuously for 2-3 minutes until the ingredients release their aromas.
