Fried Rice No Soy Sauce Recipe
For those who prefer a different flavor or avoid soy, fried rice without soy sauce is delicious. This lighter take on fried rice lets the ingredients shine.
Ingredient
– 2 cups cooked rice
– 2 Tablespoons Cooking Oil
– 1 Tablespoon Garlic minced
– 1 Eggs beaten
– 2 cups Mixed Vegetable
– 1 Tablespoon Oyster Sauce see note #4
– 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil
– 1 teaspoon Salt
– 1/4 teaspoon White pepper powder (optional) For Garnish (Optional)
– 2 Tablespoons Green onion stalk

Heat a big skillet or wok on medium. A wok gives stir fry a smokey taste without overcooking the vegetables.

Pour one tablespoon of oil into the pan. Place beaten eggs in the pan and scramble until done. Remove and reserve.

Stir-fry minced garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add chopped vegetables and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until cooked but crunchy.

Add oyster sauce and stir. Stir the cooked rice into the vegetables in the pan.

Salt and pepper the mixture to taste. For taste, add a tablespoon of sesame oil. Return scrambled eggs to pan and mix with rice and vegetables.

Add chopped green onions before serving. Serve vegetable-fried rice hot after heating and mixing.
