Italian Tomato Onion Salad Recipe

The red onions, garlic, and balsamic vinegar in this Italian Tomato Salad give it a lot of fresh flavor. It's great as a starter or side dish.

– 8 ripe tomatoes washed, seeded, and cut into wedge – ½ large red onion peeled and cut lengthwise into sliver – 3 cloves minced garlic – ¼ cup olive oil – 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar – ½ teaspoon kosher salt – ½ teaspoon dried oregano

You can mix tomatoes, onion, and garlic in a big bowl. Add the balsamic vinegar and olive oil, and then sprinkle with salt and oregano. Carefully toss to mix.
